At 10:17 this morning, Battle Ground Public Schools participated in the annual Great Shakeout earthquake drill. In Eric Anderson's fourth grade class at Maple Grove Primary, students practiced ducking under their desks, covering their heads and remaining in place until the simulated shaking stopped. They also talked about how they could help others in the school if an emergency were to happen. These drills are an important part of keeping students safe and prepared in the event of an emergency. Thank you to everyone who participated!
